Hello readers!!
Have you ever wondered what our social life has become??? From a real life socializing we've shifted to a virtual world where birthday messages are posted on timeline, memories shared through tags and relationship status updated . Love it or hate it but you cannot ignore social networking. Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram have all become part and partial of our lives and it's quite inevitable to pass a day without them.
The question here is that how good is this virtual world??? Well what I infer is that social networking sites have their own pros and cons. On one hand we get connected to a much wider world and interact with people across the seven seas while on the other, we reduce our contacts with the ones closeby. There is a friend of mine in Delhi whose beau studies at some college in Pune . She is so addicted to Skype and WhatsApp (STD rates soaring high) that when it comes to going home and meeting family, her face lengthens . Wonder why? Coz there, she would have to discard herself from social network and give all her time to the real world...!! Hillarious !!
It's high time we take out time for the people we love and the people who love us, go meet them and not ping them, gift them some of our time rather than sending an e-gift at their doorsteps, and socialize - literally, not virtually!!
Come out of schizophrenia and enjoy the real social life ...
